The new year is a great time. A magical time. Anything seems possible.
Maybe this will be the year you’ll put in the extra hours at the gym to finally get a six-pack, maybe you want to get a promotion at work and take your career to the next level, or to learn a new skill or language.
It’s also a time that gets a lot of people thinking about getting their adult on with money.
I love the enthusiasm in the air….
But unfortunately I often see people that set the same new year’s resolutions year after year.
They come off the back of the Christmas break totally PUMPED to make things happen. But then the emails come flooding in, you get caught up in arranging summer brunch catch ups with your besties, and life gets in the way, and…
Your new year’s goals end up getting pushed down your list. And before you know it the year flies by.
It’s too easy to let the important (but not urgent) things slip.
Over the years I’ve noticed there’s one thing that makes the difference between people that achieve success and those that don’t.
The most successful people in all areas of life leverage momentum to get results.
Anything important but not urgent (read: health, career, relationships, money success) won’t just happen on it’s own. You need to take action to drive results.
And the beauty of momentum is that once you take the initial action, you can build your momentum, step by step, to create amazing results over time. Results you could never achieve in one step. Results that when you leverage momentum, seem to come almost effortlessly.
Money and financial success is nothing more than a momentum game. The sooner you get started, the sooner you can start building your money momentum.
It’s this money momentum that allows you achieve results, almost on autopilot.
But you need to get started.
The ball is in your court.
What do you have planned for 2019?
