In this session I’m chatting with Chris Gray who is a property buyers agent and an expert property commentator, he runs the property show on Sky Business. He’s been buying properties for three decades and his business, YourEmpire, based out of Sydney but across Australia helps people to buy properties and get a sweet deal but also to ultimately grow their assets through properties
Chris is a bit of a contrarian investor, we talk about how he got his first Porsche in his 20s and retired by the age of 31 as well as how he has built a significant amount of assets personally in property and some of the tips that people can use to make sure that when you do buy property you do it the smart way, get a good deal and avoid some of the risks that entrap people from falling into.
Chris is the founder and CEO of Your Empire, an independent property consultancy that builds investment property portfolios for time-poor professionals. Chris began his property investing journey when he was 22 years old.
His expertise has come from a mix of experiences. He is a professional investor, qualified accountant, buyers’ agent & mortgage broker, all of which have contributed to his success in property.
Chris has built and grown Your Empire and also written a number of books, including The Effortless Empire.
Chris hosts Your Property Empire on Sky News Business Channel and was previously the Financial Judge on Channel 10’s The Renovators and the Property Expert on Channel 9’s MyHome TV.
Chris is a well-respected authority in the media, being a television host for over a decade as well a trusted media advisor on all major Australian networks and in major Australian publications. He leverages his time by providing advice & strategies regularly through his TV appearances, keynote speaking, his books & the general media.
