In this episode I chat with Aaron Christie-David from Atelier Wealth, he’s a mortgage broker and helps mainly people buying their family home. We talk about his take on the property market at the moment, some of the negotiating strategies that he uses as well as he explains why sometimes you should beat it on properties without having a pre-approval in place and how that can actually help you secure your dream home more easily. We also talk about some general negotiating tips, how to deal with agents, and what to look for when you are looking for a professional in the mortgage broking space to help you.
Aaron is the co-owner of Atelier Wealth and is an MFAA approved Mortgage Broker. He is an investment property specialist, helping Australian’s build high-performance portfolios by aligning their finances with their investment strategy. Aaron also takes a wider view of the investment property journey by working hand in hand with the support of the right team of professionals: Buyers Agents, Property Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Accountants, Financial Planners, Insurance Brokers, and Wills & Estate Lawyers.
Aaron’s clients have ranged from an 18-year-old buying their first investment property to a 60-year-old, who achieved her goal of purchasing her first home.
In an industry of 18,000 mortgage brokers, Aaron and his team have been able to dominate the broking industry in a relatively short time since launching Atelier Wealth in 2016. The accolades are a testament to ensuring their clients receive education, given the highest level of service, and staying up to date on lending policies and changes.
