Getting the Right Advice for You

Yes. You don’t need more spreadsheets – you need a strategy.

High-income professionals often hit a wall. You’re earning six figures (or more), but between tax, mortgage, lifestyle creep, and decision fatigue, your bank account doesn’t reflect your effort.

At Pivot Wealth, we help you cut through the noise and build a strategy that turns income into real progress. Whether it’s tax-smart investing, optimising super, or using debt more effectively, we show you how to get your money working harder – without sacrificing the lifestyle you’ve worked for.

Absolutely. You don’t need to be broken to benefit from good financial advice.

Most of our clients are already doing well – but they want to do better. They want clarity on what’s possible, confidence they’re on the right track, and a smarter way to make decisions.

You bring the ambition, we bring the roadmap. We’ll help you refine what’s working, fix what’s not, and make smarter moves that compound over time.

No. We’re not aligned to any product providers, banks, or super funds – and we don’t take commissions or kickbacks of any kind.

You pay us directly for advice. That means we’re focused purely on what’s right for you, not what pays us. It’s strategic, transparent, and tailored to your goals – not someone else’s sales target.

We get results – and we measure them.

Most advice stops at the strategy. We don’t. At Pivot, we track progress, hold you accountable, and stay hands-on through implementation. You get a dedicated team and a clear financial roadmap, but more importantly, you get outcomes you can see.

Whether it’s boosting savings, reducing tax, investing smarter, or building wealth through property, we’re here to move the dial – not just talk about it.

No catch – just a fixed-fee service designed to deliver real results.

We don’t do lock-ins, commissions, or cookie-cutter advice. You get a fixed-term, 12-month engagement with a team who actually cares about your outcomes.

Our process is clear. The pricing is transparent. And the results speak for themselves – most clients choose to stick around because they’re actually getting ahead.

Getting Started

Getting started is easy – just book a free 15-minute chat to see if we’re the right fit. We’ll talk through where you’re at, what you’re trying to achieve, and how we can help. No pressure, no jargon – just a quick conversation to point you in the right direction.

If you love spreadsheets and have the time to stay on top of tax law, investment markets and goal‑setting, you can absolutely DIY. The reason many high‑income earners hire an adviser is to free up time, avoid costly mistakes and get a second set of eyes on important decisions. A good adviser pays for themselves by helping you make smarter moves, keeping you accountable and challenging your thinking.

Look for three things: qualifications (your adviser should be registered with ASIC and meet FASEA standards), transparency on fees, and a service model that matches your goals. Talk to more than one firm, ask about their process, and trust your gut – you need to feel you can have honest conversations with them.

We work with Australians at all stages of life – whether you’re just starting to save, looking to buy your first home, investing in property, or building long-term wealth. Our clients are proactive and ready to take the next step financially. While you don’t need to be wealthy to work with us, we’ve found that having at least $2,000 in savings is a good starting point to get the most value from our advice.

There’s no set minimum investment amount – but to make the most of our advice, it helps to have a regular surplus in your cash flow. That way, we can build a strategy that puts your money to work – whether that’s through shares, property, super, or other smart investment options.

Absolutely. We work with clients all over Australia. Our meetings are held online, so you can get expert financial advice no matter where you live – without having to travel or take time off work. It’s flexible, convenient, and tailored to fit your lifestyle.

Services and Strategy

We offer tailored financial advice through three core service packages – IPO, Series A, and Series C – designed to meet you where you are in your wealth journey. Each package runs as a fixed 12-month agreement, with the option to renew at the end. Clients often choose to continue because they see real progress toward their goals and value having a trusted partner to keep things on track as life evolves.

Yes. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll make. We help you set a realistic savings target, structure your deposit, navigate government schemes and decide how much debt is comfortable. We also look at how a mortgage fits into your broader wealth strategy.

It depends on your interest rate, risk tolerance and goals. Paying down debt reduces stress and guarantees a “return” equal to your interest rate; investing may build wealth faster over the long term but involves volatility. We model both scenarios so you can see the trade‑offs and choose the path that aligns with your life.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all investing. Your adviser will first take the time to understand your goals, risk tolerance, and overall financial position. From there, we create a personalised investment strategy that fits your broader plan – whether that’s building wealth, generating passive income, or setting up for retirement. We do a lot of work with passive index funds that track the overall sharemarket and have a history of being top performers, and include other options where this is aligned with your investing goals.

Tax planning isn’t about dodging the rules – it’s about using them. Strategies include salary sacrificing into super, making spouse contributions, structuring investments for capital gains and using debt effectively. We work with tax professionals to ensure your plan is legitimate, efficient and tailored to your situation.

There isn’t a single “magic number” – it depends on your lifestyle, life expectancy, super balance and desired income. We work backwards from the life you want, factor in super contributions, tax rules and investment returns, and show you what’s needed to bridge any gap. This way you know if you’re on track or need to course‑correct.

Fees and Payment

Good advice isn’t free, but it doesn’t have to be a mystery. In Australia most advisers charge either a percentage of your assets or an ongoing fixed fee. At Pivot Wealth we choose a fixed‑fee model because it’s clear and fair: we offer services that start from $99 per month and it goes up to $9k per month, depending on the results you’re looking for – and this is something we cover in our initial calls. There are no hidden product fees or commissions, so you always know what you’re paying for. No commissions, no product fees – just strategic advice tailored to your goals.

Percentage‑based fees may seem small, but over decades they can add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars. A fixed‑fee model separates the cost of advice from the size of your portfolio, so you pay for strategy and execution rather than asset size. It also eliminates conflicts of interest.

No, we don’t take commissions, kickbacks, or hidden fees. Our advice is 100% fee-for-service, meaning you pay us for our expertise – not for selling you financial products. This keeps our recommendations focused entirely on what’s right for you.

No, Pivot never takes control of your money. You stay in charge at all times. We give you the advice and strategy – you make the decisions and hold the accounts in your own name. It’s your money, your goals, and your control.
